Attention CONTRIBUTORS — Urgent Call for Submissions

Attention CONTRIBUTORS — Urgent Call for Submissions

The debut issue of Mothering With Imagination is coming into focus very quickly but we still need stories, articles and poems on any subject of child rearing, especially material about bed-wetting, losing a child, raising a special-needs child, pros and cons about flu shots and immunizations, disciplining a child, spanking or not, traveling with children, breastfeeding in public – should it or should it not be allowed in public, confessions of a new mother, home schooling, safety in public schools and lack thereof… you get the picture. We need everything! From stories about believing in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny or tooth fairy to how old should your teen date. We need submissions.
If you’d like to contribute photos with your submission – that is a hit with our editorial staff! Email photos along with submissions to us, and don’t forget the bio. In the event your submission is accepted, a bio that is attached is so much easier to find!

We have a magazine to fill every two months! Get them keyboards smoking and emails coming – we need submissions through December… Let’s shine and become the best small press mothering magazine in the country!

Warmest Regards,

The Editorial Staff

Notes From The Editor

Hi everyone,

I have been out of town this past week for Spring Break with the boys! We went to Santa Fe, New Mexico for the week with my Mom! While we were out and about, the boys were arguing and fussing with each other – it really got on my nerves hearing them argue in such a way. My mother had a few tricks up her sleeve that saved the day.

I wrote an article for the first issue of Mothering With Imagination about occupying bored and bickering kids on a road trip! My momma did it again! These are actual tried and proven techniques that really work and when you read my story in May, you can use these tips yourself.

I blasted out hundreds of emails last week as well as posting here on the site about the emails that were lost on our gmail account. I asked that everyone resubmit their stories and poems to us because we lost all our data. Please, email everything to our new email address at motheringwithimagination2018@aol.com.

We lost all the information on the previous gmail account and have no record of the stories accepted or just submitted. Please send those stories as soon as possible or they will not be published because they were lost when our gmail account was deactivated.

I am sending out an urgent call for submissions once again! The May issue of MWI is filling up fast but we need a few more stories and poems to finish it up! Our Submission Guidelines lists the type of material we need.

More to come,

Theresa
